Music Rotation — 23 Jul

Posted in music at 3:30 pm by berzerkeleyan

For the week:

Crosby, Stills & Nash “Crosby, Stills & Nash” (1969)genre: 60’s Folk.
Crowded House “Temple Of Low Men” (1988)genre: Pop. All this talk of a reunion tour made me dust off my favorite CH album.
Interpol “Our Love To Admire” (2007)genre: Modern Goth. Boy oh Boy. This band hits my sweet spot like virtually none other. And they don’t disappoint with their third. I find it equally as brilliant as the second, which was none too shabby from the first. Most highly recommended!
The Feeling “Twelve Stops and Home” (2007)genre: Emoschlock.
Athlete “Vehicles and Animals” (2003)genre: BritPop.
Joan As Police Woman “Real Life” (2006)genre: Modern Torch Song.

The Smiths “The Smiths” (1984)genre: Modern Rock. Greatest. Band. Ever.

Period.
